Wreckhouse International Jazz & Blues Festival Day 1 part 1
14th of July, 2009 SALSA ROCA @ MARTINI BAR (Above Peddler's On George Street) Salsa Roca - a mixture of latin rhythms and other dancing rhythms! It's a fun and entertaining dance band that performs classics from Guantanamera, popular Mexican folk songs like La Bamba to Salsa pieces from bands such as Africando and Salsa Celtica. Salsa Roca band members are Ian Goudie on saxophone and vocals, Terry Campbell on trumpet, Gareth Griffiths on drums, Juhan Leemet on guitar and vocals, Len Penton on keyboards and vocals, Peter McGuire on base, Victor Spencer on congas, Deneen Connolly on vocals and percussion. Salsa Roca (Salsa on the Rock) stirs up a hot mixture of Latin rhythms in Salsa, Merengue, Cha-Cha-Cha and more!
