PMI Pandemic Planning

24th of September, 2009 Pandemic Planning @ FLUVARIUM (Nagle's Place) The H1N1 virus is in the news. Companies are wondering how to deal with a possible massive outbreak. Many organizations are assigning the task to the HR department to manage and prepare. These organizations are half right. The HR Manager should be the Project Sponsor, and sound project management is the solution.

The H1N1 Planning Project has a fast approaching end date, A successful transition to operations will determine whether an organization is able to continue operations, or will need to dust off the Disaster Recovery Plans.

Dan Fay has been part of the PMP certification team for chapters in Halifax, Ottawa, Phoenix, Montreal, and Shanghai, he was a PMI SeminarsWorld faculty member from 2005 to 2008, and has presented at PMI Conferences throughout the US, Canada, Europe, and China.
